Makeup is an important part of looking your best on-camera. Makeup will prevent the glistening that hot camera lights can produce. You want to wear more makeup than usual to enhance your beautiful features. It won’t look overdone on-camera.

The last thing you want to be worrying about is how you look, so make sure to practice putting your on-camera makeup on before the interview.

Take 1: A foundation primer is key when getting ready for your on-camera interview appearance. Primer will help even out the texture of your skin and fill in fine lines. The camera picks up on every little line so be sure to blend the foundation around the hairline and jawline. In order to avoid looking orange on camera use a matte bronzer.

Take 2: Go with a non-shimmery and neutral color eye shadows because they work best on-camera. Stay away from any bright colored eye shadow no matter what the current makeup trends are. Your eyes will look brighter and wider by placing a small amount of a champagne eye shadow in the inner corner of each eye. In order to enhance your face use a little more cheek color than you normally would.

Take 3: Lip definition is critical to looking your best on-camera. Your lips should be lined with a lip liner that is the same color as the lipstick. Choose a lip color that enhances your look. Stay away from nude-colored lips instead pick a bright or medium shade instead.
